Adam Gilchrist’s reaction on rishabh pant 100
Pant would fall in the next over after attempting to swipe Anderson through mid-wicket, but the damage had been done, and India had taken control of the series — and a place in the World Test Championship final — as they finished the day with an 89-run lead.
After joining the Australian legend as the only wicketkeepers to score centuries in India, Australia, and England, several similarities were made between the Indian and Adam Gilchrist. Gilchrist was one of the first to express his gratitude.

Rishabh Pant described his strategy as straightforward.
“I like to play the scenario, and all I have to do is see the ball and react,” he said.
“The team’s strategy was to reach 206, pass England’s total, and then score as many runs as possible.”
Pant was “more than willing” to fill the gap left by former captain and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s retirement from international cricket last year, according to Rohit Sharma, who made 49 at the top of the order.
“It was, in my opinion, one of his best knocks, and it came under duress. When he came to bat, we weren’t in a good position,” Sharma said.
